Philosophical research often anticipates major societal challenges of our time and provides the tools for thinking through and addressing these challenges. It provides tools for thinking through wicked problems. Philosophers don’t just work in academies – they work with advise world and government bodies UN, contribute to politics, policy, medicine and more.
