There are many ways to get involved in philosophy. In Australasia, philosophy is taught in many schools and most universities. In school, you may study philosophy units or participate in community of inquiry led activities. At university, you can choose to study a series of philosophy subjects, as part of a major, or single subjects, as part of another degree. However you study philosophy, there is evidence it improves your results in other subjects. You can also engage with public philosophy through the many internet resources or a community based event in your local area. Whatever your age, background, or desired level of interaction, there are plenty of great opportunities to find.
